A life-LIFTing Experience!

Inspiring. Thrilling. A life changing experience.
We all value life as we know it. But what if we had to be challenged? What if our status quo is no longer there?

It’s about separating boys from men, without sounding sexist. Life requires strength. But strength alone is seldom enough. We need to believe, an inner determination to succeed.

This film is an energizer. It entertains and educates, it’s an experience which we shared during the LIFT film night last Sunday, that got us all intrigued, involved and I believe, changed for the better…

A BIG thank you to all those who attended and an enthusiastic invitation to the many others who missed it.

I encourage all those who have seen the film to come along here on this blog, and express themselves freely, as to HOW it touched them…

That’s what a blog is for - after all.
Looking forward to hearing from you…

I think 'Peaceful Warrior' is a very good example of how the medium of film can provide the audience with more than just entertainment. Both the film and the book depict an exciting story of success and determination. I didn't read the book but I admit that I was carried away with this film...

This film teaches life and in a practical way promotes it whilst focusing in its' importance to live it to the full...

What does this entail?

In a nut-shell, we need to get rid of all trash we keep inside... We need to cleanse ourselves and get rid of all the weight we carry with us... This weight (or trash) gives us a very subjective perspective of how we see life...

The film depicts this idea (of cleansing) and addresses ways of how to get to this stage…

Quite a journey I must say!

I think Peaceful Warrior is a must see film for all!

I enjoyed this movie and will definetly watch it again!...loved its holistic life teachings. It helps one realise how much things we take for granted and how boringly we live sometimes. Also knowing it is a true story gives a person the necessary courage to never back down for there is always time to change one's ways. A good choice...thanks to Alvin for recommending it :)

Life is full of challenges. They make you grow and strong,if you let them. Difficulties are the best teachers

I saw the film Peaceful Warrior and what struck me most was the will power of Dan, the protagonist of the film. He overcame his obstacles to win his insecurity. He had to pass through a crisis to find himself

During the film, Dan says ‘There are No Ordinary Moments’ To me it’s true. I want you to ponder on this one.

The way of success is not in five simple steps. It is one hard step which is will power and the acceptance of God’s help.. When you give suffering a meaning you gain success.

Dan’s success was mainly internal freedom and inner peace
